High Value and Best Value Equipment Leasing
Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 10:55AM In March 2011, the National Audit Office published a report covering the management of high value medical equipment in the NHS in England. The report focused on three critical pieces of technology for diagnosis and treatment of cancer: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT) Scanners and Linear Accelerator (Linac) machines.
Historical spending, increased demand and the current financial pressures faced by NHS Trusts provided the basis for our team at Singers Healthcare Finance to offer their view on the report and, how leasing can help in the development of effective procurement strategies.
The Singers report can be read in the Sept/Oct edition of National Health Executive or here online.
